Our children are the future of our church.

Welcoming Children to the Lord’s Table.
Sunday, September 259 at 1 p.m. in the Sanctuary, Pastor Maxwell will lead a class for Welcoming Children to the Lord’s Table. This program is for all children (grades 2 through 5) and their families to come together and learn about Holy Communion. After the program, those who feel ready will be invited to join our congregation for Communion on Sunday, October 2, World Communion Sunday. Please contact the church office to register.

Vacation Bible School. Every summer our church offers a weeklong opportunity for young people (kindergarten through grade 6) and teen & adult volunteers to join together to learn about and experience Jesus Christ. This fast-paced, fun-filled week is also a great opportunity for our youth to flex their leadership muscles (entering grades 7 – 12). Themes vary every year but the enthusiasm and fun are consistent. Our 2016 Vacation Bible School was Monday through Friday, July 11-15,  from 9 a.m.-12 noon. The theme for the week was "How God has worked through the medium of water in the Bible." There were Bible stories, skits, and cool science experiments based on water to demonstrate the theme. We look forward to providing a wonderful experience again in the summer of 2017 for a large group!

Children’s Music Programs. “Sing to him a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy.” (Psalm 33:3) There are many opportunities for our children to do all these things in worship of our Lord. They are given opportunities to sing songs, play instruments in our worship service, celebrate the seasons of our faith, and make a joyful noise to our Lord. We invite children to join our junior choir.

There are also opportunities throughout the year for all Sunday school classes to join in special seasonal programs. All ages come together to celebrate, worship, and experience together our Christian holidays and traditions. More information about Sunday School classes.
