Jesus told his disciples that they would receive power when the Holy Spirit came on them and they would be His “witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
For FPC that means the church is the instrument of God’s mission in the world. Instead of viewing our lives as existing in a Christian culture, we encourage one another, as “sent people,” to view ourselves as living in a worldly culture with the intent of spreading the Good News of the Gospel.
Missions engagement at FPC is an intentional effort to lead our neighbors, whether across town or in a distant land, to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. We do this by demonstrating our own faith and love, and we accomplish it locally and globally with the help of our mission partners who are affiliated with the agencies and ministries shown below:
